In line with its ongoing commitment to develop better communities, Raimon Land has created an educational endowment to provide annual scholarships for up to 25 deserving students from leading Thai universities.

In this inaugural year of Raimon Land Scholarships, students who exhibited exceptional academic merit were selected from Chulalongkorn University’s faculties of architecture and engineering, by a special committee, for two types of scholarships.

Raimon Land Gold Medal Scholarships were awarded to final year students who finished at the top of their class. Each recipient received a THB 40,000 scholarship.

Raimon Land Prize Scholarships were awarded to students with notable academic records who require financial assistance. Each recipient received a THB 60,000 scholarship.

On 22 August 2014, the inaugural scholarship certificates were handed out during a ceremony at Raimon Land’s head office in Bangkok, presided over by Khun Pradit Phataraprasit, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Raimon Land.

On 15 August 2014, Raimon Land released its Q2 2014 financial results, which included:

• 1H 2014 net profit of THB 795.7 million (USD 24.4 million), which is 107% of its total 2013 net profit
• 2Q 2014 net profit of THB 432.7 million
• Record setting 9th consecutive quarter of profit
• Retained losses completely eliminated
• Interest debt-to-equity ratio reduced to 1.40
• THB 1.9 billion (USD 59.4 million) in 2Q 2014 revenue and THB 432.7 million (USD 13.3 million) in 2Q 2014 net profit, which represents a 19.2% increase in Q-o-Q and 89.7% increase Y-o-Y in net profit
• Secured backlog of THB 11.5 billion (USD 353 million)
• Very low transfer-failure rate (approximately 1%)

Servcorp Business Short is an annual event in which a guest speaker is invited to present a topic of interest, followed by networking with several professionals.

On 21 August 2014, Simon Derville, Raimon Land’s Deputy Vice President, Business Development was the guest speaker on the topic ‘Bangkok Property Market Analysis’.
