RML emphasizes the concept of 'Sustainable Living' through design of all projects ‘OCC’ set out to be the lungs of Bangkok with over 3 rai of public green space
RML (Raimon Land Public Company Limited) aims to develop projects that are environmentally friendly and promote sustainability based on the concept of 'Sustainable Living', is stepping up to add green spaces and bring a good quality of life to everyone. OCC (One City Centre) which is RML’s newest Grade A+ office building in Bangkok has given everyone the opportunity to get closer to nature, allowing everyone to come and spend time in the area whether it is for relaxation or doing activities according to each person's lifestyle.
Mr. Korn Narongdej, Chief Executive Officer of RML, said “At present, it is highly difficult to find green spaces in the heart of Bangkok. Our intention is that we want OCC to be a center of the town that is friendly to people as much as being friendly to the environment. We want to bring the forest back to the city and open it to the public, allowing everyone to be able to access it. That explains why we cut the 6-rai land of the OCC project in half, make the first half as an office building, and make the second half, a 3-rai land, as a green space,”
In front of the OCC building, it is designed to be open with Urban Stage, a lush green staircase leading into the project to allow the area in front of the building to be cool and pleasant. The Secret Garden on top of the front of the building is designed to be gradual from the garden in the entering area. The highlight of this garden area is over-looking bridge that stretches out to allow you to be able to see all green space on the whole project. One of the highlighted trees is the Kanlapaphruek tree in front. From February to April, the flowers of Kanlapaphruek will bloom, changing its color from green to pale pink, creating a relaxing atmosphere, and enhancing the scenery of OCC to be even more strikingly beautiful. Kanlapaphruek is also known internationally as the wishing tree. If you make a wish under the Kanlapaphruek tree, your wish will be fulfilled.
