Raimon Land Launches Condominium Focus

Raimon Land has launched the latest issue of its exclusive research journal, Condominium Focus. The publication reveals that the Bangkok and Pattaya real estate markets are showing positive signs despite the global economic downturn. The respected research document also reveals that in Bangkok, in the second quarter of this year condominium presales more than doubled those in the fourth quarter of 2008, while off-plan take up rates were still high at 73% and average per metre prices grew at a stable rate of 4% to reach THB125,910 per square metre (psm).

Condominium Focus also investigated progress in Pattaya and discovered that an 18% fall in passenger arrivals in the first quarter of 2009 compared to the same period last year has led to a softening in demand for property in a market where 50% of sales are for holiday units.

The River Update

The River passed another milestone in August, with the award of 3 major construction packages: Mechanical & Electrical; Supply and Installation of Façade; and the supply and installation of Lifts.

Meanwhile, the structural work continues to make steady progress. At the South Tower, the core wall structure is up to level 6, and the huge fourth floor slab is complete, with work on the fifth floor slab ongoing and the distinctive car park ramp now up to level 4. At the North Tower, the core wall structure is reaching up to level 7, with the floor slab complete to level 4. Elsewhere on site, the drainage system is 40% complete and work on the access road structure continues.

To continue to meet the sales demand for this landmark project, Raimon Land is pleased to announce that we have now opened the last phase of units for sale. For more information or to arrange a personal tour of our show suites, please call the Sales Office at The River Promenade on +66 (0) 2861 1971.

Update from Northpoint

The last month has seen continued good progress at the Northpoint site. The swimming pool reinforced concrete slabs have been cast and waterproofed, while the main access road water feature has been constructed and now awaits final finishes, as do lily ponds, walkways and the external hardscape, softscape, and water feature installations. At both towers the main entrance lobby fit-out works are progressing and are set to provide residents a fitting welcome to these world class residential buildings. Lift lobby area fit-out works also remain ongoing at both towers with limestone feature walling and floor tile installations ongoing.

Elsewhere, at the car park structural works are practically complete and will soon be ready for the tennis court installations at roof level. The external cladding system design is complete and is currently under procurement.

Raimon Land and Plant-A-Tree-Today Foundation

As part of our continued commitment to our CSR programme, Raimon Land recently joined with Plant A Tree Today Foundation to plant trees in Ban Sap Tai, Khao Yai. Representatives from the company together with students from Sap Tai School participated in a series of educational activities before the official opening of the Sap Tai School Tree Nursery.

Those in attendance went on to plant trees to help reforest the surrounding area in the UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site, Khao Yai National Park, just a few hours' drive from Bangkok.
